M&P9 parts/upgrades

The apex 2.0 trigger is advertised at 5-5.5lbs. I red multiple time that the factory 2.0 is at 4.5lbs. Seems a bit counter productive.

I got fore sights for my original M&P9 and -22 at Al Flaherty’s. they also have them on Amazon for higher prices. I don’t think there’s a difference for the 2.0

We all are different. I applied a drop of fluorescent orange paint over the white dot on the front sight of my PPQ M2 5" and found quickly I prefer it over the FO sight on my PPQ Match. I have since done this on a couple of other pistols I use regularly. Before you spend money on a FO system try the orange fluorescent paint on your front sight. You might find it to your liking. For IDPA and steel shooting it has worked for very tired eyes it might work for you.

That's great advice. I was also shopping for sights, I'll try this first. The old "sneak some of the wife's nail polish" trick worked wonders on my Norinco M93. Not sure why it never occurred to me to try it on the Smith...

Instead of nail polish get some fluorescent orange paint from a hobby shop for a couple of bucks. When applied over white it really does jump out at you and in the sun light even more so.
