M&P9 Range Kit Question

Does anyone know if S&W ever distributed a M&P9 Range Kit with the slide stamped with "Stainless" on it? All the ones you see recently don't have it.

All the slides are stainless even if they are not stamped.

Yes, I know, but I'm looking for one to exactly match my Pro Series slide.

All the older M&P9's came with "Stainless" on the slide. They stopped that practice a few years ago. So, keep looking. They are out there.

does it also matter about the model?
cause i know my dad and myself both picked up M&P 9's a couple years back, i picked up the one with no safety and he picked up the one that has the safety, one has the markings the other doesn't.
