My buddy , who is a member on here , has an M&P 9 range kit/apex competition kit 3 1/2 trigger pull/ Novak adjustable rear sight and fiber optic front sight/ one extra mag and a extra single mag pouch. About a thousand rounds through it. He's wondering approximately what it's worth on the EE. And because he has a zero I trader rating , is there anyway he could use me as a reference? The cost would be a $1000 + txs if purchased new. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ... Brian

As the trigger in these is terrible , the apex is a good upgrade. The sights are a minor improvement. What about the zero I trader rating? Should he list me as a reference or let it ride on his own?

To be honest using you as a reference wouldn't mean much too me since I'm dealing with him not you however others may have a different opinion.

well what I mean as a reference is that I can vouch for the condition of the gun and that he actually has it. I know a lot of potential buyers are hesitant buying from a zero I trader rating.

Zero trader rating? Some may not deal with you. Be honest and communicate well and earn your first rating then move on.

I bought two m&p 9 range kits new never fired on here in the last two months for $520 and $550 shipped. I don't think there is a high demand for them as they were btt a few times

Yes you can get a range kit for $550 sometimes, but the extra mag/ mag pouch / apex and sights, should be worth about $100 to $150. I think anybody who buys these guns are gonna want the trigger upgrade for sure.

Personally I wouldn't care for the trigger upgrade for 2 reasons. I never felt that the trigger on the M&P was too hard/heavy/spongy (whatever the case) And secondly the upgrade would bump it out of production class for IPSC.
Not to put down the upgrade, but just to keep an open mind that an upgrade isnt always an upgrade to everyone :)

Agreed. How "terrible" the M&P trigger really is very subjective. The trigger upgrade is not going to add much value on a resale.

A used gun is likely never worth the sum of its parts. I have the trigger kit in my M&P and it is nice but not mandatory. I would think that $750.00 would be top dollar and $600.00 bottom dollar as a package. It is a good gun and people want them.
