M1 Carbine Accuracy

Accuracy really depends on. Getting used to the heavy trigger and ammo.

As I had some ammo do 4 to 9 inches.
Oh hell yeah. It's a decent trigger in that it breaks pretty cleanly, but it is heavy. I'd hazard a guess that it may be around 7 pounds.

Even so, it's a fun rifle to shoot. I've got one rebuilt on a '44 Inland receiver with mostly USGI parts. The barrel is non-restricted - 18.75" from Criterion, and the wood looks almost new - couldn't say when/where it's from. Type 3 barrel band, but the longer barrel = no way to mount a bayonet. (Without getting some custom work that is just not in the cards)
