I acquired a carbine that is in good shape, functions great except it suffers FTE. The brass will fall out of the chamber if I hold the bolt open so I am blaming the extractor. Anyone know where I can either send the bolt out for a rebuild, or get a rebuild kit for it?? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

"...brass will fall out of the chamber if..." Is that loaded ammo or empties? Ain't no way the brass, empty or otherwise should just fall out. Sounds like you may have two issues. What make of Carbine is it?
In any case, you're biggest problem might be getting another extractor. For soime daft reason, M1 Carbines are on the U.S. government's restricted for export list. Parts require the State Dept export permit. However, Marstar has some. I'd stat by changing the extractor spring. $3 from MS. They're sold out of extractors.

I rebuilt a M1 Carbine bolt recently. Source the parts from the EE or wherever you can in Canada. Order a reproduction bolt tool for $28 from Numrich. Watch how to do it on YouTube! Done.
