M1 Carbine parts

Is there a website one could go to, to help identify the rarity (and value) of various M1 carbine parts. I have a "bag" of parts and believe that some of the items are quite rare variations.

It's tough to put values on many M1 Carbine parts in Canada, the restricted thing means there aren't a huge number in circulation, and unlike the US the market is small - and cheap. US values are useless in Canada.

Get a feel of the US prices and then price them dollar for dollar in Can$$$ and go from there. If no one wants to pay the price, start lowering them 10% at a time.

I don't agree fully. There are hardcore collectors in Canada as well. Also why couldn't I sell these parts in the US?

Depends what parts they are... check ITAR status since Genuine M1 carbine parts = Genuine ex-US military , so lot's of headaches right there.

I thought ITAR applied to items going out of the US not into the US?

No you cant import m1 carbine parts into the usa with out import permits

If it was easy to import anything M1 Carbine into the US, I'd have sold my Royal Thai Police Howa carbine into the US market - it's worth a lot more there than it is here.
