M1 Carbine price

Hey guys so my cousin has brought to my attention he has a M1 carbine, i asked if he wanted to sell it, he said make me an offer, i know for a fact this thing doesnt shoot worth a nickel, shoots in circles, what are they worth, id grade it in poor to medium condition, but the fact is, ill probably never have another chance to pick one up decently priced,

Any thoughts??

there are new manufacture ones in .22 cal (about $400) and I saw a new manufacture M1 .30 cal in a store in Red Deer for $1000

I'd say $400-$700 depending on condition - if the bore looks like a sewer pipe $400. That can be solved fairly easily and you can de-restrict it at the same time. There are people a whole lot more knowledgeable than me, they'll be along soon.

If its a universal worthless IMO. If its usgi restricted depends on the maker can be anywhere 400-1200. If it's non res shiny bore from 650-1200$. Early commercial nonres 500-700$. New commercial 700-900$.
