Are there any sources in Canada for new 5/30 or 5/15 mags?

Parts? And .30 carbine ammo in bulk?

I believe trade ex has mags and parts. Marstar sells bulk (but not surplus) ammo.

reloading is the ONLY source for reasonably priced bulk ammo


there is NO surplus 30 carbine in canada it really has not been used since Vietnam

There is some still around you just have to be lucky. I recently bought eight 50 round boxes of 1944 dated ball ammo for 10.00 per box, and thats in Ottawa where there is almost no gun stuff left anymore!

You might find pinned aftermarket 30 round mags, that may or may not work well. Marstar lists parts.

trade ex 30/5 rnd mags I believe to be vietnam era unmarked usgi contract 30 rnd mags (pinned to 5)

I base this on the welds the sharp folds and the thiockness of the metal when compared to my known usgi marked ww2 30/5 rnd mags
