I have a M1 Carbine that was made by GM Inland in '44-'45. It is in good condition, I have 1 mag. I purchased this rifle about 5 years ago as a collector and I have never fired it. I would like to sell it, but the problem is, I don't know how much this rifle would be worth. I have trolled around the net and can't find any prices for similar rifles and I don't want to get ripped off trying to sell it. Any help would be greatly appreciate in this matter.

inland was/is the most common m1 carbine

is it all matching all inland parts or a mixmaster?

Id say beteween 350. to 400 ish maybe a bit less

If you can post some pictures then I'm sure a number of people would be happy to give you a fair and accurate estimate as to the value. Some of the post-war commercial ones go for around 350-400 but that is low for a USGI/war dated carbine. I would say around 500 as you described it but pictures will say a lot and I am by no means an authority on the subject.

Some recent prices I have sold and bought for, all USGI and wartime versions (no bayo lug, 2 rivet handguard, proper stock) around the $700 mark. I paid a heck of alot more for an untouched Underwood in my safe.
