"...a Auto-Ordnance M1 carbine..." That have a longer than 18.5" barrel? If not, it's restricted just like any other Carbine.

Alright so the mount showed up today. The way it works is you remove the rear site and replace it with s threaded collar and the mount attaches to by a screw. My latest issue is this thread collar that slides into the dove tail that held the rear site doesn't appear to fit. I gently tried tapping it in with a hammer and it won't slide in. It scrapes metal off the collar. Should I keep trying? Or should I file it down so it fits easier? Help please lol

Alright so my report so far it's quite comfortable shouldering it, definitely going to want low mounts I'm going to range it tomorrow hopefully. Only disadvantage so far the mount makes it harder to hit the bolt catch

"...This ones unrestricted..." Cool. A-O doing longer barrels now? Suspect you'll get a lot of useless attention from the Revenoors though.
Anyway, think IMR4227 and 110 grain HP's. When my Plainfield wasn't evil, before 1978, it really liked the HP's with that powder. Made a hole the size of a grapefruit in a ground hog.
