Does anyone know where i can get the 2 and 5 round en bloc clips for my garand?!!! ive been looking everywhere and cant find em :(

I saw some at the Orangeville gun show 2 weeks ago.Didnt pick any up, at 12 dollars they were a bit pricey IMO.

M1 clips are as hard as the hubs of hell. You need to anneal the places where you intend to cut and curl in the sides of the clip at the right height.

Have a few spares on hand if you intend to try this yourself.

Looks to me that you could use a Dremel cutting wheel to make one out of an 8.

I made a few with a dremel, single cut and roll the edge was difficult. Settled on a double cut to make a thin "tab" that was much easier to bend into shape. Nice thing is they take 2 rounds on one end, and 5 rounds on the other....

Years ago an old fella gave me a pattern for the five rounders. I tried a few. Then I came up with a hydraulic press cutter that cuts and bends it in two motions.

Nobody at the time had any intrest in them at the time. So I chucked the dies. Oh well.

Pictures, pictures, screamed the mob .....

Don't. Use the clip release on the left side of the receiver to release the clip and any remaining rounds into your paw. Garand handling 101.

So much for logic, reason and common sense. Then stop whining and enjoy the "Ping!" as you cycle out three rds. Problem solved.

I bought my five rounders from Creedmor Sports. I've made them using the CMP template and agree with others that it is a pain in the a$$ due to the hardened spring steel.

I saw how to do it in an old issue of the NRA "Rifleman" magazine. Ruined two clips trying to do it. T'ain't as easy as they done said it was.
