M1 Garand 2 round clips

Does anyone know of a source for 2rnd Garand en-bloc clips in Canada?

Numrich has them but if available here would be easier.

Not that I see any point in doing so, unless you are in a Province with mag limits for hunting and want to use them for that, you could make your own from a standard clip. There was a video or thread or something going around here that showed you how. You could probably search Youtube and find something.

It would be for competitions.
Load 2 then reload etc, would save having to handle a partial clip. I have 1 rnd 5 rnd and the regular 8rnd already so this would complete the set.

it's pretty easy to load 2 rounds into the mag using a standard 8 round clip.

Milarm out of Edmonton has some of these competition mags and standard enblocs and will ship.

Making a 2 or 5 rd clip is a lot easier to say than do. I found the 'how to' in an old copy of the NRA 'Rifleman' magazine and tried it. You have to anneal the steel before drilling it, making the cuts and bending it. Not worth the effort if you can find them commercially.

Eight rd enbloc clips are legal in BC for hunting.

I have one that a friend made for me YEARS ago. All he did was to solder a square nut inside of the magazine at the correct spot. Works like a champ and I would think would be easy to make. I'll post a pic or two if there is any interest.
