M1 Garand and G43 legal in Canada

I'm getting off topic here, but if you want to shoot 10 rounds in an AR-15, just buy the pistol mag that is compatible with the AR (I forget the name) and it's 100% legal. :)

Instead of the G43, I'll buy the Tavor (non-restricted) with extra cash left over.

5 rounds, as far as I understand. Very few semi-automatic rifles are allowed more than 5rounds. There is a 3rd one, but I don't remember the name. Perhaps, there is more.

I know rimfire can be unlimited for bolt-action rifles, but beats me when it comes to semi-auto.

Doubt the Tavor can be converated to .22lr any time soon or any other calibre.

is there a "long mag" for it
like 35 rounds LOL

the garand is an enclosed clip action- there is NO magazine projecting from the bottom- if you see one,it's either an m14 or an experimental when they tried to use bar mags( 20 rounds) and they don't come in rimfire- and no conversions- to do so would reqire a complete re-design - unless there's a trainer version out there somewhere- even then , it would be limited to 8 rounds, same as the big boy
take a look at the trainer smle sometime
