hi

I was thinking that I m not alone to have been building some M1 Garand since SFRC have received those Italian/US stripped receiver I also have buy during those year a lot of small and large lot of parts in various condition and I m sure some have done the same and I was wondering if some of you would like to show the extra parts that you have buy during those year , we may be able to trade or help each other or even help new builder to get some parts for cheap or even do large group order of some parts

did somebody have parkarezing skill or can do it cheap ? I do have several buttplate and front sling swivel and stripped trigger group to do ??

I started with a receiver, bought a NOS bolt off of ebay...that's where I'm at. I was hoping some parts kits would have arrived from over seas...still waiting lol

Parts kits are available here in Canada. Google is your friend! I just finished my build, sold my spare parts within an hour of posting them on the EE. Toughest part for me to find at a fair price was the oprod.

Nick at Vulcan gun refinishing does parkerizing, maybe contact him with your needs for refinishing.

How were you able to buy new old stock bolts from ebay? Did you just pm the seller before hand? I think all the bolts offered only ship within USA.

There was a seller from Greece that had several bolts and miscellaneous parts for sale.

It was a few years ago, a seller from Greece had some NOS bolts in the wrap. Importing them wasn't a problem because it was from a source other than the US. I did a quick search on ebay to see if I could find any info but I think it's been too long since these were available.

Seeing thewhole9yards's build thread kicked me into gear...lol

Theres a seller on here with trigger groups and other various small parts, great guy to deal with out of BC, cheaper prices than ordering from numrich after you factor in import & shipping fees
