Recently acquired an old M1 bayonet, partly covered in grease. I was unsure about what product to use to get rid of the old, thick grease without risking to damage the blade or make it rust. Any tips for that?
Mother nature / lazy way: black garbage bag outside in the sun all day. wrap in paper towel inside, than after you wipe it down afterwards. Oil like you would normally than you're good to go
