I have 2 Garands that I want to know more about. I am thinking of selling one due to a new addition to the family. So any help would be much appreciated, if there is any more pics needed just let me know.

And what would the approx value for these rifles be?

Hard to tell with so few pics. Did you refinish the stocks on those? If so, that will diminish the value somewhat to purists. What is the bore condition etc.

I think the one with the darker stock was replaced with a aftermarket stock,
because the winter trigger will not fit in the hole on the trigger guard. The bore on it is mint I personally have only put 2 enblocs worth of ammo through it, and i doubt it has had much more than that through it.

The second one I just put a couple coats of BLO on it, and that's all I've done. The bore is good, rifling seems strong, it's the one I take to the range and it shoots accurate.

Both appear to be rebuilds as most components drawing numbers are way off...no biggie. SA's tend to be the least valuable as they were the most commonly produced. Which one has the nicest bore, barrel and headspace?

$1000-1200 a piece for sure if the bores are mint. Springfields were well built, better than others like Winchester (even though they are more collectible nowadays). List them for that and see what happens;)

I concur...J996 is on the right track with approximate price range.... I paid $850 for mine

SA lease back Danish Navy..good bore...excellent rifling....some scuffs..marks on stock.

at the range i was really surprised at the accuracy of it.....I love it and will probably be buying another one. Only problem...ammo is NOT abundant.
