Good grief.
It's an Italian receiver and likely has one of those fantastic Danish barrels and shoots very well. It's obviously been refinished at one time.
It's NOT COLLECTOR GRADE.
If the bore is as clean and sharp as the outside, IMHO $1500 max to the right person.
Quick sale $1k because it's a very nice example of a "shooter grade" Garand.
That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it but it doesn't have the desirable US built receiver. Even if there are US parts in it, that won't enhance the value.
Nice looking rifle. So someplace between $1k and $1500 but only if their are accessories with it, such as a sling, bayonet and some enblocs.
