I need to chase the threads on a gas lock it threads on to 2 out barrel both ww2 dated but is VERY tight on my 1965 dated sa barrel other locks fit this barrel
I bought one off of ebay from China took a month but showed up for $ 21.00 us now they are cheaper. Actually got the tap and die together might wanna check barrel as I bruised a couple threads on it. Good luck

You can buy the appropriate tap and die from MSC Industrial Supply. I bought them some yrs ago and have used then to clean up threads on Garand barrels, gas cylinders, gas cyl locks and gas plugs.
