M1 Garand In Lefort Sask.

I was wondering if anyone has purchased one of these Garand’s from the gentleman in Lebret Sask?
They seem to be reasonably priced so I was wondering if anyone had an dealings with or feedback on their experience.

Hopefully he didn’t source these guns from Marstar...... I would be nervous until someone did a face to face and checked them out.

I don't think $1350 sounds too good to be true. I expect Italian receivers would work as well as any in the same condition but they would reduce the appeal to collectors and with that, the price. If they are the Italian manufactured rifles supplied to Denmark, there was nothing wrong with them when they left the factory and probably nothing but fair wear and tear when they were surplused. (If they were assembled from spare parts by a hobby gunsmith in his basement/garage I wouldn't rely on my own judgement of the builder's ability.)
