M1 Garand sage ebr stock

I was just pokin around on the fabsports website and stumbled across a sage ebr stock for the m1 garand..

Very interesting.

I wonder if it would even look good, I know this would be defecating on a great peice of history, but it could be a cool sniper rifle config...

thoughts??

I think it looks better in the original wood stock. The shape and contour of the original configuration is very nice. However, I think that the functional feature in these Sage stocks is the ability to mount extras on the rifle, such as optics, reflex sights and bipods and lights and so forth. Therefore, if you want to add such things to the Garand, then you may consider the Sage, provided you have the cash for going to such a platform.

yea, i think if your going for the sage look instead of like 900 bucks on the stock alone for the m1 garand it might be better just to get a norinco m305 and the m14 sage for a similar price to the stock alone for the garand.

i think the m14 ebr looks better but thats just me
