M1 Garand Shuster Gas Plug

Hello,

I just tried to order the Garand Shuster gas plug from Brownells and they said that the order was cancelled as the manufacturer has not registered with their department of State!!! I also asked them about the McCann Plug and it is the same.
Does anyone know where I can get one of these in Canada??? I will eventually get into reloading, but I can't right now and I would like to get one of these.

The good news in this is that you really do not need one of these to shoot a Garand - provided that you stick to MILSPEC ammo or handloads prepared with MILSPEC compatible propellants(IMR 4895/IMR 4064/H4895) and MILSPEC range bullet weights (150-175gr).

I just ordered a Shuster from Brownells a couple weeks ago, maybe they are mistaken? The McCann for sure is a no go, I tried as well.

Lucky me I ordered my McCann several months ago, and it came in no problem...works kick-ass also.

I found a Canadian Supplier!!!

I found that Ellwoodepps supplies the McCann adjustable gas valve and has some in stock. They get them from Brownell's. The part number is (SKU# 100-000-402) currently in stock as of today Mon. May 25th, 2009. They are selling for $70.99 + taxes.
