M1 Garand Stripped Receivers $49.95

Well, I just drank the Koolaid! 1 Beretta receiver on it's way.

Looking forward to hearing 'PING'! That will be a couple of years down the road though.

I'm Danish, need a Danish rifle!

Yeah, ten-four on that ^.

Bolt and reciever incoming. Please, let it be FKF!.
Trigger group and front sight inbound from a fellow Garand fanatic.
A Bishop stock donated/delivered by another generous 'nutter.

Am hoping to hear if any of youse find a source for op rod? ... decent barrel?.
Hope to go .308 with this one.

So will all parts work together despite what markings are on them? I've noticed when searching parts they list different markings and such

The markings on the garand parts are drawing numbers. They are used to indicate the year, improvments made, manufacture date, etc.
I'll see if I can find the web site to list the numbers and latest variations.

Here is the web site that has a plethora of info on the M1 garand. ht tp://usriflecal30m1.com/Parts/PartsComponent.aspx

Choose components then components by type, You can get the drawing numbers and years they were made. You will also see the MFG info, component drawing number, heat lot/type,
date range, and serial# range of the components as well.

This is how you can tell if a garand is authentic WWII / Korean war or a rebuild/mix master. For instance someone may "claim" the rifle is all genuine 1942 but it has a bolt with a drawing number of 6528287-SA Z4B in it.
The 6528287-SA Z4B is a January/1955 to December/1957 date, so it, like 90% of garands out there is are build/mix master.

Great site, too bad it doesn't have any info on breda or beretta.

I know that Breda and PB made all thier own parts to the latest drawing numbers, so if anyone went with that in mind then you will get as close to a Danish Garand. Less the VAR barrel of course.

Just picked up my receiver from the mail. It's a danish beretta. I can not see any signs that it has been installed before. It's still covered in cosmoline, but I see zero indications of metal to metal contact anywhere.
Incredibly pleased with this purchase. Thanks SFRC.

Got mine seconds ago via canada post. Breda, Danish marked. Looks like it was once in a stock as there is some rub marks on the finish but overall the piece looks great. The wear marks will all be out of sight anyways.

Very happy sfrc. Great deal!!!

Got 2 today, the Breda is in thick cosmo and looks new no scuffing or anything! The berretta is definitely used with lots of scuffing and some light scaring on the inside but still nice and useable for sure, now how about some REASONABLY priced parts,,, or complete Garands!

got my 4 in the mail today, 2 of ea. don't wana run short ya know! only one shows signs of being a compleat rifle. I am happy to say the very least. thank you VERY much
