M1 Garand Stripped Receivers $49.95

Boyd's has full stock sets for about $120.00 U.S.. I think you can get parts out of the States without too much of a problem. Brownell's has some parts. So does Marstar and Tradeex. It can be done, you just have to look for the parts here and there. Barrels are easy enough to find. With a little time and effort, a nice rifle can be built. The receiver was the toughest one to find and now here it is.

I built one long time ago from stripped receiver...

Shop with confidence! North America is not the only parts source.
I encourage all to have fun!!! This format has so many possibilities (read as 2014 should have some interesting build posts)!
I'll suggest that op rods are next in line behind receivers for availability for those who care.

308 or 30-06 are both options... ...bigger bores are also viable (waiting for custom pull through reamer before divulging more).
While not exactly my angle, 35 whelen can be done too...
Anything under the sun based upon the afermentioned cases are viable.
Even 6.5x55 is possible,

Can the Beretta receivers be built up as a 30-06 build, or are they limited to .308?

Awesome, thank you! Was afraid the Italian models were only limited to .308.

I'm going to see if I can get more in the morning. In the mean time sign up for the in stock notifications for them and I'll send out an email once I know.

I guess Marstar got tired of carrying these and sold them off cheap. I missed it...but good luck finding all the parts :)

These aren't from Marstar, I didn't even know they had any. I think I can get more, I'll know in the morning.

Receivers are the hardest part to find...with receivers at this price, you could build a brand spanking new mixmaster garand for the price of a beater garand on EE.

Marstar had a whack a few years back, but don't think that they sold well... ...shortly after Marstar delisted, Lever had a decent run.

Great job Ryan on bringing more to market. Would love to know the whole story but would rather see more CGN'rs w/ receiver in hand.

Think that this country could use another 10-20,00 more...

God bless,
R
