I have some surplus M1 Garand ammo that came with my rifle that I was looking to sell. Have 460 rounds of loose bullets and 42 loaded en bloc clips. Bullets are marked KA73 on the bottom. What would market value be on this? Any help would be appreciated.

This is South Korean corrosive surplus. I would probably discount it for this reason alone, given that better alternatives (i.e Greek surplus) exist. I’ve seen it go for between $0.40 to $0.60 USD/round, so I figure a fair asking price (given that Barnaul sells for about $0.90 CAD/round) is probably in the range of $0.65-0.75 CAD/round.

I ended up with a couple hundred each Lake City stamped and Korean stamped ammo a couple years ago. Collectors would pay $15 for a loaded enblock of LC ammo (including the enblock) but no one was interested in the KA stamped stuff. I ended up blasting it all off in a single range session so I could clean the rifle of corrosive salts once. The brass is good for reloading if you wet-tumble it to get the corrosive salts out of the cases.
