Hey Guys,

I know I have posted this questions a few times in the past but I am not currently up to date with M1 Garand values these days. I have seen some basic M1 Garands on the EE go for $1200 and up. That being said, how much would my M1 be worth today. I have a Springfield Armory with a 3 digit serial number. It's manufacture date from my research states it around August of 1937. It is mis-matched unfortunately:(. I am thinking of posted this up for sale on the EE to help the family firm.

Thanks for your input.

I will be posting pictures later.

EE is not a place to judge value. 80% of what i see on there is overpriced. just look at what someone else is selling theirs for, and then undercut that guy by a hundred bucks. I am going to venture a guess that yours will be in the ball park of $1200 on the EE...

I was being serious! I have a half dozen milsurps I'm seriously considering getting you to sell. You are getting 50%+ what they go for on the EE plus I don't have to answer tire kickers all day long...
What is your consignment %?

Value is determined by condition and originality of parts. A 3 digit Springfield which has been rebuilt with later/non-gastrap era parts is a curiosity, altho some might pay a bit of a premium for it. I've been selling nice clean, overall excellent condition Garands in the $1400-$1600 range lately. That's not much beyond the cost of the parts these days.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Hopefully I can now get a pretty firm pricing range with some pictures posted now. On a side note, the rifle serial number range is 15X.
