Does anyone know where I can find a .30-06 M1 garand barrel made by VAR? I'm putting together a Danish contract m1 garand and I'm trying to keep it as authentic as possible.

Trade X has the only new M1 06 barrels for sale in Can that I know of but I'll bet there may be others
The barrels from Tradex are Citadel in the US.
Nice barrels.
There should be more than a few VAR barrels sitting in take off bins. Several people on this site have mentioned they were attempting or going to attempt builds on US built WWII Garands that were sold to or lend leased to Denmark.
I would suggest a WTB ad in the Milsurp EE. Have you tried Tradex or Marstar??? They often have one offs in stock.

I have one attached to my Beretta....but it's near new and staying right where it is lol
I have a VAR Barrel on my Districorp “Special Select” WW2 Winchester M1 Garand and it looks new as well.
Pretty.sure this one came from Districorp as well. That shop was awesome. Between them and Zefarm that's where most of my money went at the time lol.
Oddly enough, my Breda barreled M1 shoots a tad better then the VAR. Might not even be broken in yet lol.
The one in the pic came in those lovely low grade greenish Dane beech stocks...ugliest wood I had ever seen on a rifle in my life, full of half moons.
