M1 Garand

Hey, I have heard about the US having a surplus of M1 Garands still in the plastic. Is this true? And if so how can I get one of these?

Pretty rare to find one still in the wrap. You would likely be looking at $10,000US and have 100,000 people ahead of you in line.
CMP had a load of Greek/Danish lend lease returns a few years ago but I think they have even dried up. Shooter grade was in the $400 range.....tough to buy from CMP in Canada though.
