M1 Garand

Here in the US I have access to Lake City (LC), Greek (HXP) and Korean (PS & KA headstamp) military 30.06 surplus ammo. It all shoots and reloads well but the Greek is closer to the actual M2, performance wise, of WWII. I have used quite a bit of UMC commercial 150 gr. FMJ, it works well out of an M1 and is reloadable also.

50 gr. IMR 4895, 152 gr. Flat base bullet. Is the ball load in the ammo manual. You can get pulled bullets from several places in the US. Will be a tad light with comercial brass but well within spec.

I didn't know that we designed that rifle. Avro, A-Bomb, Garand,....we should build some tanks.
