M1 & M14 White Lettering CRAYONS FREE! Limited number! Raided my colleague's Crayons

I used a white paint pen on my glock. I'd not heard of this crayon business LOL

I remember trying to colour with a white crayon on white paper and vaguely wondering just what in the world they would make such a useless colour for

Other than for scribbling on easter eggs before dipping them ;)

More lettering on the portside of my Winnie M70 sniper rig...

And now for the lettering on my Garand:

And here is another view of the lettering on the Garand...the bolt view:

You can also see the heel of the receiver. This Beretta receiver really liked that white crayon application. :D

And now, after finally finishing the build since I began back in March 2014:

Yahoooo, keep on having fun marking up your M14 or M1 Garands. All good fun!

Cheers,
Barney

Barney is the man! Thanks again for supporting the CGN community!

I filled in my digits on my 305 with this trick, works great! And looks awesome!!

That is sooooo geeky Barney! I admit, I did something similar but I used white enamel model paint. Crayons are easier but they will come off eventually. Tried it already.

Ah yes, you have point, but crayons are more fun to thief them of yer kids' collections. ha ha ha ha

I've tried WhiteOut from my desk drawer, but it gets sloppy and now I need a bottle of Acetone nearby (or steal it from your wife's nail polish kit) yuk yuk yuk :D

And yes since I am competent in over 10 programming languages, I AM a geek! :dancingbanana:

Who else needs white crayon stubs out there? ha ha ha ha

Cheers all!

I did the crayon thing to my M&P15-22 a couple years ago. It still looks great. It's more durable that you'd think.

I have never used the crayon method, but I colour fill all my guns these days using a white tire paint marker. Works great, can fill in areas quick and wipe away the excess with paint thinner. I can then put different colours on top after for a different look.
