M1 Magazines

I just came across a few M1 Carbine Magazines and they are marked with the followng,
M2
N.V.T.

Anyone know what the markings refer too or mean?

post war manufacture, sound like the bigger banana types.

they are 30/5 rounders.

10-4. Sorry I am not 100% sure what manufactures they are just going off memory, I think the M2 mark is from Inland Division. NVT is possibly a Japanese made mag.....

Thank you, I will be putting them up on EE shortly. I also found new 15/5 rounders as well. Any idea of value? They are all in mint condition...

I have found that NON usgi 30 rnd magazines do not function 100% of the time

Most of the feed lips are way out of spec

the ONLY M2 marked magazines that are real USGI are also marked AI AI over a line OR SEY

Thanks Contact148, most of the mags i found are marked M2, AI there are also a few grey colour ones with no markings on them. I will have to dig deeper... The odd ball is the one marked N.V.S.

m2 alone is korea made or the denmark made them too i think

NVS ive never seen and my books dont list it
