So I was working my way down through McCann gas plug screws and when I used 3/5 screw, it started cycling. However shot 5 of 8 failed to feed properly. The bolt didn't close fully, with the bullet stuck in the throat and the cartridge rim sticking out on an angle with the bolt stopped short of battery. It bent at the neck down portion of the cartridge. So the rear of the cartridge was sticking out like a stove pipe eject. I'm wondering if this means I need to move to the smaller gas plug screw or is this a failure caused by the en bloc clip or anything else.
Oh I should mention I was working my way through the gas screws that would cycle commercial federal blue box 150 grain soft point 30-06
