Time for a Chinese or Canadian version, I would pre order and cash up ahead to get this project rolling even it would take two or three years, I don't mind. That would teach any nations that we are nice but not dumb.

+1 here

US MSRP is fairly meaningless as most guns down south sell for way under MSRP..... Still raising their US MSRP does seem like a lame attempt to hide the price increase.

North Sylva must know how to talk the talk...... if only they could walk the walk.

Thanks for trying to get this done at a reasonable price CanAm.

But wouldn't have been NS to run the prices up to get the orders over CanAm!?!?

Yeah them raising their US MSRP to justify Canadian price gouging is ridiculous. They don't sell any in the US because people can just buy AKs or ARs.

I'm sure we'll hear some drivel about expensive export fees or rising material costs or how a few centimeters of steel costs $500 USD in machine time.

All guns in the US sell for well under MSRP.

Sorry Canam ! I'm on your side for life !
Can I suggest if someone want to buy that gun, contact IRG.... and make sure North Sylva don't make a penny from you !

NS paid more for the rifles then any other dealer would.

Not necessarily bcuz adding a middle man (NS) will bump up the cost to accommodate profit for the retailers.

Before when M+M sold to canam and Wanstall the price they sold it was the end users price, not so with NS.

Canada Ammo is the only distro. with big enough balls to post something and stand up for Canadian gun owners. !

Sure looks exactly like that.

Canada Ammo just pulled out some huge balls, dropped them on M+M's desk and called it like it is.

Was only mildly interested in this rifle to begin, with, as all it really is in Canada is a NR 5 round x39 fun gun, a role already filled by lots of other rifles. After all this BS, and a huge price tag, I am completely disinterested in this rifle in particular, and M+M in general.

ALL THAT STORY MUST GO ON THEFIREARMBLOG.... will see how the CND and US gun nutz community will react...

I really hate North Sylva !

You sound like an M+M apologist.

Can Am is perfectly capable of fufilling the role of a firearms importer and distributor to retailers.
