M10X Canadian MSRP set

You honestly could not pay me enough to find a place for the T81 wIthin my collection. Perhaps my attitude will change when I handle one, but I sincerely doubt it. The T81 looks to be a lot like the Norinco Type 56 (AKM) rifles that were imported pre-12 (5). That is to say, all razor-sharp internal edges, wrappped up in a rust-inducing, thin parkerized and/or salt-blued finish. A dead-end SKS derivative.... no thanks. Your milage will hopefully vary.....

Then why are you still posting about them? Let it go man. You'll feel better.

No, that's the T81...
But only 5x the cost of an SKS for virtually the same thing lol
The 10X is at least modern enough to mount an optic.

Yeah. Same except for pistol grip, folding stock, modern safety, adjustable gas system, detachable mags, no archaic barrel-mounted bayonet, rotating long stroke gas system instead of tilting bolt, etc. Kinda like how a cooey 64 and a Ruger 10/22 are the same thing. Or how a Remington 742 and a Remington 700 are the same thing if both are inc.308. Gotcha.

Lmfao except everyone in the states praises the Polytech/ Norinco AKs , and um you do know type 56 AKs were made by Norinco and they sure gave the yanks a hard time in Vietnam but okay.

Same here, not interest in t81, a oveer priced sks, I have to wait to use my AK scope and my AK mag !

Those t81 haters who are also m10x lovers must have choked when they heard that CGN classed the m10x as red rifles and moved some of the threads here, lol.

I love all guns......very happy for the 81 nutz!!!!
Super excited for the m10x if it turns out to be a long waiting game like the 81 was it’ll be a sad 2018.

Both are iron sighted relics lol.
But... I would take the fixed stock over the folder anyway, so it would be more SKS to me. Mags...5/30 round proprietary mags you mean. I can carry 30 rounds or more on clips for the same space 1 mag takes up, and load it faster then the 2 handed affair that is the T81....so 6 times the ammo can be carried in the same space, and loaded faster.
And my SKS doesn't need mags either which is another bonus. Nothing extra to buy or lose.
Attached bayo doesn't get lost either and works as a monopod.
Pistol grip makes the rifle bulkier and less manoeuvrable, and doesn't aid shooting in s/a.
Gas system...SKS doesn't need adjustable gas system, throws brass 30 feet already.
In the end, they both have ####ty iron sights, with no easy way to mount optics, and shoot 7.62x39.
I wonder how many T81's are going to get bubba'd up with rails n #### because people can't shoot with irons, or take the time to learn.
I like the T81 for what it is, fairly crude, cheaply made, but interesting history in Chinese small arms manufacturing. Mine will collect dust and stay pristine, SKS will be shot lol.

And for the record, no it is not an SKS.... nor does it do anything better then an SKS lol.

No worries - I actually feel fine, but thanks for asking! I think that I still post about the T81 as a sort of misguided (and certainly unappreciated) public service announcement. I think of all the good people about to make their first foray jnto the unpleasant world of Chinese military firearms and I weep for the many sliced fingers and unholy curse-words that will inevitably follow. "Keep 'em well oiled, men....You're gonna want to keep the rust off..." or words to that effect.

Truth be told, the only thing that worries me is the thought that you are tracking my CGN posts. I know that it was Halloween and all, but even you've gotta admit that is some darned scary stuff. So please cease and desist your creepy post-stalking, poste-haste!

NS blew so much smoke up M+M's ass they convinced them they would sell 1K units in Canada at the new prices lol.... In this economy and in this firearms market lol
