1450 to 2000 is 38% increase, if you want to be precise.

Our issue is foremost with those who will "pay anything", thereby encouraging gouging. Those are the price pimps. Got it? We really need to go line by line with other examples of gouging? Then the 'elite' can suggest we're 'bitter paupers'. Sounds fun.
Hmmmmmmm 3rd party import a restricted........good idea bartok!!
Good if you don't mind a restricted. Gonna cost another $500-$1000 to make it NR if that's the end goal.
This is precisely what I have been saying since the entire CGN-only "tempest in a teapot" began concerning the M10X. We hear all sorts of righteous indignation over getting taken for a $500 ride on a $1500 M10X, but silence despite getting ripped off a grand on the purchase of every Tavor TAR-21 or X95.
Plenty of restricteds.....don’t mind at all. I’ve got mags ready to import may as well bring the gun in with them.
The difference is on this one everyone saw first hand how it all rolled out. Tavors didn't come in or were advertised/promised to be any cheaper than what they are. This is a perfectly legal but sketchy and dishonest business move, and nobody wants to be part of that as a buyer. It sucks, let's be honest with ourselves.
And you're looking at two different markets. The ones who have no issue paying 2600$ for a Tavor will have no real issue with this rifle. But the ones where 1500$ is a BIG purchase will be up in arms, as it's been taken from their grasp to well beyond it.
I want one, I'll probably eventually buy one, either used or when the market calls for change.
I agree with Jon. The difference with the candy gun was that we got to witness the gouging unfold, and then had it substantiated by a respected dealer. There was no doubt, there was no ability to burry your head in the sand, you KNOW you've just been screwed.. Flat out, in your face, unapologetically screwed.

Apparently we need a thread listing every gun we think is overpriced? Or we're all 'hypocrites'? It's not enough to focus on the case of those rubbing out noses in it? Do tell.
What is conveniently misdirected is that the gouging is actively encouraged by some as a means of trumpeting their perceived financial success and to reference 'jealousy'. I dunno-my last toy was $9500 >cash<. Gouged? Maybe.
I'd prefer ALL guns to be affordable because it increases the number of guns out there. That makes them harder to ban. That's the best scenario but in the end if folks like something, they are free to buy it or not. I've discovered that 'gun drama' isn't that worthwhile.
Yet you are the one who keeps creating this gun drama!?!?!?!?
Price pimps, gun gougers etc....!?!?!?!?
Everything you post now is drivel to me and makes me laugh at the #### you spew but carry on as usual I guess
