M10X Canadian MSRP set

I got home from moose hunting this morning and find this thread
Got to be one of the most predictable and hilarious and so uniquely Canadian firearms industry blunders I have seen.

I was intrigued and lurking these threads in hopes of something "good" coming out of it all.
Proves to me that I probably will never buy into the Canadian Non restricted semi auto rifle game that these folks are playing. I see no point in personally owning these rifles that are trying to be an AR but not be an AR and cost 3 times as much as an AR that a the end of the day..... puts the same rounds into the same paper. I can do that all day long with a 1200.00 rifle in an AR.... on the same range.
I see guys with the modern varmiters doing nothing but range shooting LOL and guys with thier modern hunters trying to compete in precision rifle..... I get it ..... but it's just not for me.
I get the price tag for the custom build limitted run stuff..... okay , but these m10x rifles ? the original price was okay i guess but the new price?
This industry thinks we are all idiots , lemmings , sheep lining up for the next fleecing LOL
oh and don't gotget the uniquely canadian guinea pig phase for the first 2 or 3 batches sold..... LOL

thoroughly entertained and most certainly skipping this batch of koolaid.

NOT EVERYONE IS MISFORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE STUCK ON A RANGE

That is the point of these types of rifles. My MV and I will never see a gun range. I consider myself fortunate in this regards. These types of firearms can and do shoot more than just paper, not like you're lame @$$ AR's your comparing all other non-restricted semi-auto rifles to. You call it a game but at least in my game I can shoot more than just paper. Have fun with that.

Rant over.

That being said I still won't be drinking the M+M kool-aid. I have plenty of other choices.

I haven't been on a gun range in over 2 years..... and I don't plan on changing that any time soon..... and I still have zero use for a rifle like this AT THAT PRICE. It's just a frivolous waste of money that I'd rather spend on feeding my 50BMG......

You should see the video where some guy does a "torture test" and it locks up solid when he dumps a bit of sand on it...lol.
Overpriced AND a piece of ####.

So then neither does the negative Feedback Ratings. In fact, based on your logic, no one in this situation has the right to leave any feedback, because the Feedback score is only for EE.

Now that we know EE feedback can be changed by the seller, I see a much larger issue arising

Maybe you should have compared to an M305a, 858/58, or one of the other more price friendly non restricted rifles. I get what you're saying but it looks like the message was lost with the comparison to a restricted. There are plenty of better NR options than the M10x in my opinion now that the price is $2000+. At $1500 I was on the fence but with all the drama that has gone on with M+M I could never support a company that does business the way they do.
I'm not really sure why someone would spend so much on a x39 bullet hose but I guess some people want a more modern hose regardless of the future of the rifle in Canada. I can't imagine they're going to sell many of these here at that price and with US sales in the toilet M+M could be out of business this time next year which would leave those stubborn guys that must have it with no warranty or parts support (not that they would get much with NS taking care of them anyway).

I went and bought a Type-81, not as flashy, no rails, wood furniture, but it was half the price of a M10x which leaves me $1000 to buy a couple crates of surplus with cash left over. I personally don't feel the need for rails and stuff on a x39, it's only going to shoot cheap surplus so the level of accuracy I expect does not need magnified optics. To each their own though, to the guys buying one regardless of what has happened and what the new price is I hope you are happy with your purchase and I hope it turns out to be a reliable platform for you.

To be fair he buried it in sand which would stop most rifles but I do agree it is now quite overpriced considering it is a rifle made by an unknown company with one item in their catalog that also happens to be failing miserably in their home market.

hopefully M+M re-thinks things... I personally can't see them flying off the shelves @ 2000.00! maybe i'm wrong but, i'm out at that price. really, really wanted one to!

So the DMR has no upgrades, and they have gone back to the ####less Hogue grip like on the Elite...
Bravo for ####ting the bed yet again M&M.
