M10X Canadian MSRP set

No hands in the cookie jar. Nameless people posted prices that never came from M&M. Are you aware that you are buying a nitrated stainless steel rifle made entirely from scratch in the US? Barrel is nitrated 4150 steel, hell even the screws are nitrated. North Sylva is not gouging either, sorry conspiracy theorists. You type 81 stamped rifle that was mass produced with sheet metal and some of the cheapest labour in the world comes in at $1000. Do the math. I'm privy to the margins and I can tell you no one is getting rich on these overnight.

Not trying to bash you, but you do know a large percentage of the m10x is also stamped sheet steel, right?

No hands in the cookie jar.

I saw the msrp before and the new one for the same rifles after the Canadian pricing. That's fairly common knowledge on here. They very much got caught. I don't take it personally like some, but it did take it out of my interested price range.

Do you know what you are talking about? Nitrided stainless steel rifle? What's stainless steel... not the barrel, not all the aluminum on it? Is the STAMPED receiver (you know, stamped like the T81) now made of stainless?
Nitriding is a nice feature, but it is not an expensive treatment.
Wait and see what the US price drops to once the Canadian order is delivered, then you will see how bad you are getting jacked.

Barrel is 4150. You might want to go read my post again. The inner receiver is steel, lower receiver shroud and cover up top are all stainless steel. I'm sitting here looking at the rifle. Where you getting your information from?

Stamped stainless steel.

Stainless doesn't make it any better. I buy steel all the time. Gun grade carbon steel and the SS used for guns is pennies apart in price.

Both have advantages, neither is superior. Just saying. It's not a bad thing that either gun has sheet steel in it. Look at the $3000 Swiss arms, it's almost all stamped carbon steel and nobody thinks it's poorly made.

Ps: if shy, pls pm me your dealer affiliation info. I'm starting a spreadsheet to keep track of who I'm dealing with when it's clear they are not the end user. Thanks.

Look I'm just trying to give you guys some information. Information that came straight from the horse's mouth. Not speculation like what's been going on for the last week and a half. I'll post a few pictures when I get home. And then I'll leave you gun nuts to do what you do so well.

I quoted your post, you said "Are you aware that you are buying a nitrated stainless steel rifle made entirely from scratch in the US?'
I got my specs from M&M website, they don't claim 1 single piece is stainless. The shroud is aluminum, unless you don't know what aluminum is? They say the barrels are 4140 as well, not 4150.
So who told you parts are stainless? And what parts?

Wrangler, please don't let the trolls get to you. They are becoming frantic now that the positive first-hand reports are startng to flow. Hitzy and Claven2 simply can't STAND the thought that that they might be wrong about the M10X and it's parent company. They have too much ego invested in the rifle being a piece of junk, which it clearly is not. I'll take your on-the-spot account over their ceaseless whinging any day of the week. Thanks a bunch for posting despite the inevitable "static" from the peanut gallery. I look forward to seeing some pics from the North Sylva show if possible!

PS. Try the ignore button - it works wonders at hiding certain posts so that they don't interrupt the flow of the thread.

Thanks bro. Working on pics. P.S I am NOT a dealer for all the interested Trolls.

Lol. Dream on...

I never once said the m10x was a bad rifle. I challenge you to find any post where I have ever claimed that. But sure, spout off some more lies about me. It says more about who you are than anyone will care about me.

What I have said is that m&m handled the consumer and certain dealers very badly and that I therefore won't be buying anything from them, no matter how good it is, or whatever price it is.

This is a karma world and they have exhausted their karma with me.

I hope the people who do buy get a great rifle and enjoy it many years. I just won't be one of them for reasons of principle.

Ps I never claimed you are a dealer, I asked who you were affiliated with. That's a different question, and a valid one given you have your hands on a sample rifle.

It's like when pcvanto was reviewing the t81 - he made it clear he was doing so at the request of tactical imports.

It's actually law in Canada that if you are advertising for a company, you have to disclose that, that's all anyone is asking for. Honesty.

If you are unaffiliated, great. It doesn't sound that way to me, which is why I asked.

I'm not trying to be malicious, but there is a history of shilling on cgn, and sometimes it's found out. We all remember nea doing that, for example. I can't recommend any dealer try that - it never works out in the end.

Gadget isn't a shill and he is saying the same thing as wrangler that it is a very well made rifle.

And I know for a fact gadget doesn't work for NS or m+m

I never said anything about gadget. I also never claimed it's not a good gun. I simply don't know if it is or not.

But wrangler4867 seems to have a dealer sample in his hands, which makes it a valid question in his case.

I played with the M10x yesterday and today as well and I was very impressed with what I saw/felt. I also added 5 more to the presale on the website.

Gadget seemed to like the rifle...I found him hiding under a table petting it and repeating “my precious”. The finish is also pretty durable. I sprayed it down with Purcell after finding him with it and it didn’t do anything to the finish.

Don’t hate me Gadget.
