M10x fix for surplus ammo.

I finally got around to installing an ak47 hammer spring I bought for the m10x to see if it would help with the light primer strikes using surplus ammo. Sure enough it fixed the problem. Not a single fail to fire on over a hundred rds of different surplus ammo this afternoon. If you are in the same boat as me and couldn't use surplus reliably in your m10x here is the solution.

Think was one of the first short hand guard . I can get serial number if you are interested.

My short handguard rifle never had an issue setting off surplus primers BUT the casings were constantly getting stuck and having the lip ripped off of them

That happens on mine with most ammo when I'm on gas setting 2. Needed to switch to 1.

Where did you buy that AK hammer spring. I saw that they are lots of aftermarket ones available.

Picked up this one from Az...h armory not sure I'm allowed to mention them I remember not long ago posts were being removed because they weren't site sponsors.

I've never ran my old rifles on setting 2. Only during break in, even then always got stuck casing unfortunately

Ya... I've heard lots of stories about some of these being pos .. definitely not promoting them lol.
I had a few issues I had to work through and customer service from both north sylva and M+M were non existent.
At first mine wasn't feeding at all... my gas tube wasn't lined up with gas hole in barrel.

Brutal. I really wanted to love this rifle (as I always wanted an SG550 in x39 cal with AK mags) but over the 3 I had, none of them were reliable
