Hey guys-wondering if you can offer some input. I once polished the chamber of a buddy's 870 as it was a little rough, causing spent shells to stick. There was a small issue with the extractor as well, which I addressed. The same guy asked me to polish the chamber of his M10X, as spent rounds seem to jam. The bolt will often cycle about 1/3-1/2 of the way back after firing. I have not fired the gun, or witnessed it being shot..and know these guns have a bit of a reputation.

I suggested he turn to the dealer he bought it from and/or North Sylva=depending on the response.

I'm a rimfire bolt gun/centerfire bolt gun guy..with no black guns in the stable. Hoping someone can offer some input, or, alternative fix? The issues I've seen in a recent video review (Wolverine?) seem to include a failure to chamber.

Appreciate any/all input.

thanks!

Don't do any chamber polishing if it is going to be returned.

Thanks tiriaq-that's the advice I've given. First see if the retailer will offer any support, then NS if they can't/won't help. I advised that a DIY solution may not work, and only void the warranty. (if that applies, I know almost nothing about these)

I think Red Rifles refers to something else entirely, but I appreciate you chiming in. M+M rifles are manufactured in Colorado I believe.

lol, if you say so. red rifles for 7.62x39 no matter where its made. they finally changed the heading recently.

do you see any other headline M10X thread here? no??? go to red rifles and you will see tons of threads including recent controversies.

Too busy trying to ruin your day Curtton. :) I'll take a look now though.
