No matter what happens I will be getting my deposit back and will never deal with NS and MM. I will also make sure none of my friends who previously bought from NS will never spent another cent.

You got thrown under the bus WS but I understand the situation.

We don't really know who is the F_____R yet.
 
I'd imagine since ns is exclusive wanstalls probably isn't getting any now. At least I'd assume that's the case.

That’s interesting. I just noticed the M+M Facebook posting when it was posted here as a link. Coupled with WS assurance in their forum post, my presale price might be honored. Who knows.

Maybe the options will be; to get your deposit back and move on, or to maintain your deposit and get what was assured.

Just specualation on my part.

Or maybe “rest assured” was just pillow talk - It’s all conjecture until I receive my email.

I’d assume neither company will concern themselves with my repeat business. I represent a small consumer segment - a gun owner in Canada with money to spend.

Both M+M and WS can “Rest assured” that I’ll be patrons of both, whilst singing the praise of their products.

Does this mean that the rifle will not be coming to Canada? I was on the waiting list but was not lucky enough to put my deposit down. What does this update mean to those who were interested in the product?
 
It's coming under the guise of 1999$ and imported thru North Sylva now.
Not Wanstalls or CanAm. Appears they were both duped out of these rifles

Its coming at a inflated price, thanks to Mickey Mouse and NS's greeeeeed.

It means you can pay $2000 along with everyone else.
Edit: If you find a dealer who is carrying it.
 
Maybe im missing something here, but can somebody please explain to me how exactly Wanstalls is different from NS? It looks like CanAm did ALL the legwork in getting the M10X approved, then Wanstalls jumped in wanting to cash in on that. Since no contacts were actually signed with anyone at that point, M+M just went to somebody with deeper pockets - NS, screwing Wanstalls just like Wanstalls "screwed" CanAm.

Now its possible that Wanstalls had no idea they were screwing CanAm, but we haven't heard anything from NS on this matter and it's just as possible (unlikely, but possible) that they had no idea also what was going on with Wanstalls and CanAm and had no intentions of screwing anyone.

Wanstalls only offered a presale based on the info that there was no exclusive distributorship on this rifle, even Mikey Mouse stated this on facebook posts, i guess roth sylva promised them a bigger return, hence they got exclusivity :D. As i see it its mikey mouse going back on its word to CanAm, Wanstall and us the ones that put faith and pre-ordered.
 
There is not a single doubt that W and M spoke hence the presale and afterwards shenanigans. Here is the thing. N came up with a sweeter offer and M said screw W and C I am making more money with N. At the same time, M lost most of its customers by lying to W, C and all of us since day one. M is dishonest and greedy, which matches the exact criteria of N. Have you all forgot who gouged up the price for the nr bullpups ? It has always been N, and N is merely doing it again. Many will bite. So N will do it all over again when the next new toy lands. I heard words that N is also after T81s.

I wont be supporting m+m on these, and do buy from W frequently.
However, it was extremely poor judgement jumping in full force without signed distribution agreements. Just because I can sell the crap out of IPhone 10s, doesnt mean I should take preorders on them without a clear contract.
Preorders on a product you cant/wont deliver on should only be taken care of by full refunds and possibly an in store incentive towards your next purchase.
 
I think retarded micky mouse thinks the demand is thru the roof for his rifle but he fails to realize that was before the drama and at a lower price. He was probably thinking the preorders falling thru would convert to the same customers buying the "new" dmr model.

I'm not surprised US sales are failing with him running things. He had a niche gun and it ended up being Canada was a niche market perfect for his gun and instead of marketing properly that wanstalls did on their behalf they created all this drama and figured we'd be fooled by a match grade safety, saying dmr, and raising their us mrsp to justify the price increase.
