how is the accuracy like with the Norinco m-14 rifle?

2-3" average/good one with ball, up to 4-6" for a loose one, they vary like anything Chinese. Overall good for the price, but nowhere even remotely close to a good bolt rifle.

I think they are accurate enough for what I need to do. I was hitting 15 inch gongs out to 400m with irons with mine with ease. For me that is good enough.

I consistantly get 1.5 moa 5 shot groups with mine. The are handloads using match brass but cheap bullets and they are not worked up for the rifle. just something I slap together.

At 50 yards standing up using 147.gr Winchester USA FMJ's I'll shoot 4 clips (20 shots) relatively fast/about a round every 1.5 seconds and get grouping as tight as a soft ball.

Fist size groups don't start happening until 300-500 yards with my bolt guns, about 200 yards with the M14S... The M14S/305's I've built should cluster tight at 50, if they didn't I'd be downright ticked...

A tuned tight M305 with proper handloads can shoot MOA or better. My last one was used to dispatch clays at 500yds. Didn't hit everytime but close enough to be very interesting.

Except for the bedding, trigger tuning, and gas system shimming, box stock Norinco parts. Very impressed with the chamber quality. Did work on a few more for CGN members and all had very nice chambers.

Not seen one of the recent batches so can't say if these are equally good.

Fired a cutdown 18.5'' Norc M14, hitted the dong all the time & 1.5 to 3'' MOA group sounds right w/Milsurp ammo

No Norinco at all AFAIK. If I remember from waht he said, he was using a U.S. made M-14.

Most people don't realise how many shots and how fast they have put them thru their rifle when benching their m-305's. Try putting 20 rds thru your rem.700 in 5 or 6 minutes and measure your groups.

Not true. Their legal. Just can't IMPORT them anymore. The ones already in the country are fine.
