I remember paying $ 700 for an M1A Springfield Inc receiver. Sometimes you are better off buying the entire rifle and selling the parts.

I do know about several M14 Norc owners who have bought the $ 400 rifle and sold off ALL the chinese parts. Then they built their receiver with all USGI and NM spec parts. All depends on your budget and tastes.
