M14 and Seal 1 clp...to grease or not to grease.

I just used Seal 1 clp on my AR and was thinking of using it on my M14 as well. Anyone tried this? If I use it, do I still have to dab grease in the usual spots or will this stuff suffice?

M14 requires grease in several spots. Super lube synthetic grease works great, cheap to stock up on.

AR's benefit from grease in a few spots, the safety detent for example. Other than that just dunk an AR in a tub of mobile 1 and go.

M14 needs it to stick in several places though so grease is the way to go.

In my experience CLP is over rated and over priced. I have a bunch around and no reason to trash it but I'll never buy it again.

M14 needs grease but oddly enough your m305 is supplied with oil. I wonder what's up with that.

My 2007 Norc is often over greased, it's a range queen anyways.

for one thing, it's the WRONG OILER- the real thing is about 5 inches long and has compartments for both oil and grease, along with an applicator- but their stock drills won't go deep enough and that's why u get that funny oiler- and it's only a get-by anyway= you use GREASE on the 14, and I use white lithium- have for years
