M14 BFA Question

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I found an small box with a US M14 BFA packed in 1968.
Will thay work on an M305 M14?

Don't see why not, they both fire the same cartridges.

...I mean, as long as you have the bayonet lug on your gun, it should attach just-like-that, no?

2 things- 1) you've only got half the equation with the bfa- there's also a breech sheild that goes over the bolt- 2) just like the fn, use a bit of wire to hold it in place on the lug as well- these things had a nasty habit of launching themseleves into the great unknown
where did you manage to secure blank rounds?

I picked up 50cal boxes of them over the years. A friend and I used to run the largest gun show in the Maritimes for 17 years. At the end of the shows some guys didn't want to haul cases of ball and blank ammo home so I got some great deals. Sold some and shot some live stuff but kept the blanks. At the time I thought it would be interesting to fire some blanks through my FNs, 308 M1 Garand, M14s, and 2A1 Lee-Enfields.
I have a few hundred 223 blanks and am looking for a BFA for the CAR-15s or M4s.
I will check out the M14 BFA package to see if everything is there.
