M14 Bipod Installation

Does anyone know of somebody in the Toronto, Ontario area that can professionally install a front quick detach swivel mount into an M14, so a Harris 6"-9" bipod can be attached?

I would like to have this done prior to an upcoming Designated Marksman match in early June (i.e. within the next 3 weeks).

This is what my M14 currently looks like...

I reside in Oshawa, Ontario.

Don't really want to do this myself, as it needs to be done correctly the very first time (especially since a dremal is likely involved).

Its just not gonna be a professional job if I do it. I believe the QD stud is a left handed one! Some of you in the CF will remember the Warrant's joke about going to QM stores and signing out a left handed ratchet wrench.

The 'weep hole' installation was the approach suggested by the rifle's "builder", however, there is very little room between the weep hole and the gas op system (which means there is plenty of room for me to mess it up, if left solely to my inexperience).

Try Fabsports, they may have a (sadlak?) Rail with bipod stud that replaces the front sling Loop....

If you can get one of the Sadlak units in time, it is a pretty easy do it yourself install. Just drill out the rivets holding the existing sling loop, drill out the holes in the stock a bit bigger (can't remember what size drill, but the instructions are clear) and bolt in the Sadlak unit.
