Hey guys, I'm gonna scope an m305s using the m14 CASM gen 1 rail. I wanna mount a little bushnell 2-7-33. Anyone running the same rail and have any ring suggestions? I want to keep it as low as Possible since it will sit pretty high with this mount anyways.
Thanks cmoney

The scope would be a dedicated one for this rifle, not need to take it off as you lose the rear sight with the CASM. I heard some talk of the Millet Angle Loc rings? I know the M305 has a history of moving rings and damaging scopes so I just want something bomb proof that won't break the bank if it's possible?

I'm resurrecting this thread now that more people own the CASM rail! I too am trying to find the right 30mm rings to mount with the new scope I just bought from a fellow CGNer. Its a 1-4 scope so I was thinking some low rings would be best. Any suggestions?

Contact Grouse River and get some Warne steel low profile rings. The one good thing about this design is that the rail sits so high that any objective bell will clear all handguards with ease on the lowest rings that are out there.

I used some Burris Zee rings with loctite and after less than 100 rounds, my scope had come right out of the rings, jumped forward, and was grinding against the top of the rail. I was totally pissed at the CGN'er I got the gun off of the EE for selling me a defective gun because I couldn't zero it, or even hit paper at 25 meters. Turns out it was the cheap rings, and not the gun, which shoots perfectly well with a red dot on it, or even iron sights.

I now have Leupold QRW's, but I'm waiting for my scope back from Vortex, as it was totally F'd.
