Took my m14 out the other day. Finding the stock a bit low with the scope mounted on it. I really hate to drill holes in the USGI stock but I'm thinking a cheek riser would be a good idea. Does anyone know a good cheek riser to go with....or one to stay away from. Picks would be great aswell.

I have a viking and a tacpro on the way from fabsports... The tacpro might be a bit cold come winter and I may like a padded rest better anyway, there are a few options on the market but alot of people like the tacpro.
That looks pretty good. I wanted something black but the black one from them looks kinda cheap. The 1" digi camo one looks good. I wish I could see one in person.
Do you think 1" would be high enough?
His product is not cheap at all. He hand makes each one to order and can do whatever height you need. Wrap some rags or something on your stock until you have the right height.. then measure it. I've got a sadlak mount with low SEI rings... and i went with an 1.5" one.... works and looks great.
What if you could strap a spare M14 20 rounder to the side of it?

As you can see from the pic's that it is high enough to give some one like me that has a rather large head
rolleyes enough check weld to nicley see my scope and also not to much that if I remove my scope to still use my irons. Plus having the M.O.L.L.E. attachment points are a huge plus!Also yes that is M14Doctor's Ultimate Front Sight gas system mod.
Yes I was being sarcastic. I found it on google when I was searching for an M14 stock pouch like the AR15 has and came across this and though it was perfect because I could store my mag on the rifle and when I am out on crown land just slap it in. The check riser being perfect hieght for me was just an added bonus. So I figured I would share my info on a part that costed me $25 that I have used and like.
