M14 Clinic-Owen Sound Re-scheduled to 15 SEP 2012

I cannot wait for your next session (after the Sept. 15th one), when ever it's scheduled. I can't make this one due to it being my bachelor party and all, hey at least I'll get to shoot paintballs as opposed to my M14.

One week and a bit away! yahoo!

Cheers,
Barney

Yep, 9 sleeps to go.

I've arranged for the clubhouse to be opened Friday evening so my wife and I can set up an appropriate number of chairs and tables.

Speaking of which, would you PM me a list of those attending (or at least a number)?

If possible, I'd like to print out place cards with attendees' CGN nickname.

Opening up time will be 0800-0830 hrs Saturday morning.

See ya there!

PS...What advice has been given about lunch? If everyone brown bags it, no problem (heating/cooling facilities available in the kitchen).

Any restaurant/take out place is a fair distance away.

Looks to me that people are gonna have to brown bag it.... Bring sandwiches and snacks since restaurants are quite a ways away. This ain't the TSE Calgary clinic with the Farmer's Market nextdoor selling Pulled Pork Poutine

I'll take care of the name tags. No need for place cards/ID places, etc. During the tweaking session, everything gets knocked off the tables.

Anybody have a stock/rifle to glass bed? Let's get it out now so that you might/can be able to prepare the stock (wood or glass?). :D

Cheers,
Barney

There is a gas station about a 5 minute drive away that makes a mean egg salad sandwich. By mean I mean good.

Or we can order some Chinese food to go with our Chinese rifles. Or pizza and get it delivered.

Yes, I got yer back. Bring $35 if you can make it. Just bring your rifle and not to worry about tools, especially on such short notice. :D

That sound decent for you?

Cheers,
Barney

Tools? I thought we were talking about m14's. They don't need no stinckin' tools!

Seriously though, what tools should I bring? :D

This sounds very decent.
I'll let you know in advance if I'll be there. I just didn't want to show up the day of to hear that I had to book in advance and you don't have room for me.

I haven't received my M14 yet, and I can't make the 15th, but I'm going to keep my eye out for more of these workshops.

I'm in the Georgian Bay area myself and am seeking someone that can go over my M14 with a fine tooth comb to confirm she's good to go.

Great idea about the clinic. I have been thinking about getting an M14 as my next gun. I have a SKs so I want a Western cold war rifle(even if its made in China) If I am not working overtime I would like to attend.

Packing the Rav4 now. We are gonna have fun!

Arrive between 0800 and 0830 and then we can set up tables and our kit / rifles/tools.

We will start the classes at 0900. Don't forget yer sandwiches and drinks/snacks!

Cheers,
Barney
