Evening CGN.
With the recent M14 clinic from Tactical Teacher AKA the man himself Barney at CDN gunworx in Oshawa this past month. I think it would be cool to start a picture thread of your rifles that were recently tuned and or full on built built at the clinic! Weather it be the last clinic in Oshawa or any other clinics. Show off your pride and joy M14/M1A/M305 and even your Garands!
This is my latest build or should I say rebuild. Its a USGI TRW build that I originally had on a Century Arms receiver. After nearly 7 years of working on these rifles and learning more and more about them and after having great difficulty with the rear sights I found that the Century Arms receiver was out of spec especially in the rear sight pocket. So it had to be replaced and I went with another M1A receiver!
At the clinic I moved the TRW barrel over to a very nice M1A receiver. And put everything else together when I got home to save some time. Looking forward to getting this back out to the range to re sight and blast away with.
The last clinic was a blast, got to see some real great rigs and I'm looking forward to the next clinic to see what else will show up. If you haven't been to a clinic yet and are wanting to do a build or tune a rifle you this is a class you'll want to go to! Anyone who is needing stuff done the next clinics in Oshawa on Sat Feb 23rd and Saturday March 30th!!
Hope to see ya there!
