currently only availlable for USGI and aftermarket imperial threaded barrels.... SEI makes em.... brownells sells em to canadians.

Unfortunately no canadian manufacturer has stepped up to the plate with this item for chinese barrels...... though i am working on it with a local manufacturer... don't expect anything soom

Smith Enterprises makes awesome stuff. I've got as much of it as I can fit on my SuperMatch. Love it - havn't found better not even on Fulton's guns or Springfeild's.

my 2 pesos

Only thing with SEI is that most of their parts won't fit Chinese M14's (Metric) just M1A's (STD)

OK, but arent they asking a hefty $150+tax for them? Since the norm is about $75....

You have to consider that a small shop is making them, so the costs for machine programing, and machine time factor heavily into the price..................Since there isn't a huge market for a metric version (unlike the standard versions)...........they aren't going to make the volume that would bring the price down..................The U.S .Doesn't have the number of Chinese M14s that we do, and since they can not be imported into the U.S, there is no big rush/demand for Smith to make a metric version................

I had a The Smith Dovetail gas lock on my CrazyHorse/ EBR clone with the tritium front site..............I liked it better then the standard GLFS................

SKBY.

:agree: ...... what he said..... it's like a few guys have given me the gears for my custom stocks...... make em for under 200 and i'll buy one they say ...... not from me :D
