Hey there,

I would like to chop a few coils off of my springs, but would rather save the $$ in buying a Bolt assembly tool . If you have one and live in Calgary, why not let me "rent" it off of you.

I would really appreciate it. PM me if you are intersted.

Thank you.

I'd consider renting mine out to those in need. With a refundable deposit and a 30.00 rental fee. :D
I'm not booking any rifle work for a few months so could rent mine out in the meantime.
Anyone interested, send me an EMAIL m14doctor@hotmail.com please don't pm me as my inbox is 98% full

Are you finally going to Croatia/Serbia for a much needed holiday?
If yes, have a blast!

So hey, I been thinkin after seeing this thread.
I'm gonna offer an M14, do it yerself at home , tool kit rental service.
The entire kit would include barrel vice, action wrench, headspace gauges, bolt tool, roller greaser and stock liner tool, stock bedding fixtures ect.
Pull through reamer kit could also be made availlable.
Still figuring out a cost and deposit fee. For those confident to tune up or build up their rifle, correct index issues ect.... A tool rental may appeal to some, over buying the tools individually.

What do you guys think?

Oh now you bring this up after I just purchased a pull thru finishing reamer (for those barrels you may be getting) and head space gauges and built my own barrel vice and receiver wrench and some nice straight edges for proper sight alignment/indexing.

Sure if you pay the frieght  want the tig welder too :D
And BTW, a 30-06 case does work with the help of the GF's hand... However, just think what her hand could get up to if it was free due to your use of a bolt tool LOL :D :D

I would be sooo down for that! Keep us posted, Doc!

Borrowing a bolt tool this Friday from a fellow nutter! Thank you very much!

Hey doc, for the idea, I think you should give me 10% off my next purchase!!

Great idea Doc! I'd be eventually interested as well, but just got my shorty, so need to get acquainted with her first

I also have a DVD I've been secretly putting together that is specific to the chinese rifles. From out of the box, pre-range inspection, to a completed "standard accurized" range ready rifle. Cleaning, maintenance and post range inspection included. Each tool used is shown in detail.
Editting, I am told, will be complete late may and I'll get a box of dvd's so 1 can go with each tool rental.
I've actually had this in the works for a little while now ;)
